Nicholas Nixon
Nicholas Nixon, an instructor at MassArts, is most famous for his project entitled, "The Brown Sisters" which is series of annual photographs of his wife and her sisters. The images were taken from 1975 on. The series is lauded for its beautiful rendering of the incremental effects of the aging process.
Nixon uses an 8x10 camera and is known for his capacity to set up and manipulate the camera quickly--almost like a small hand held 35mm camera. I think that this is evident in some of the images posted here, which seem to be almost quick grab shots of scenes--as opposed to long, drawn-out and carefully composed large format images.
Nixon does not have a website that I could find, but a summary on Nixon and his work can be found on the Fine Art Photography Masters Website
