David Prifti
I chose David Prifti because of the emotion lying under each of the subjects faces and eyes. His use of the traditional wet plate collodion process adds character to each picture along with the little scratches in the negatives and the color of the photographs giving the image a worn and older feeling supporting a story to the subject. Each exposure taking 30 seconds to 2 minutes Prifti finds that the collaboration is the power of the process with the commited time of the sitter is present in the final image. http://www.prifti.net/
