Hello everyone. Through this blog we will be sharing the work by photographers that we are looking at, find interesting or are inspired by.

You will need to post 5 images from a different photographer every week until the semester is over. In addition to the images give a brief description of what attracts you to the images in particular, be it subject matter, composition, mood.

I am going to start us off with the work of Whitney Hubbs













Whitney's work resonates with both a feelings of dread and elation. The subject matter is disparate but the emotional quality is very consistent throughout. I am particularly attracted to the type of light she photographs under which gives her photographic an acute emotional charge.
