Roni Horn

When I was in digital last year, Kimberly showed us a movie about Roni Horn. I was blown over by her photos. In particular she did a whole series on Iceland, water and ice. The images stayed in my mind. Being a water person, I have taken shots of just water. Just think of how many different ways water can be presented. Oceans, rivers, snow, ice, fog. The image of the glaciers I feel is one of the best, it is just so pure. There is a university in Iceland that has her photos hanging on the walls in very large format, it is amazing how beautiful, and dramatic water can be.
