This work is from Philip Lorca DiCorcia's Storybook Life series. Done in the late 70's til mid 80's it is a mix of candid and staged photographs. DiCorcia blends these two genres until you are not sure which is which and you have to let go of the boundaries of both categories. You realize how much overlap each of these two genres have and that any idea of a true documentary photography is a lie as it shares the same language of staged work.Chad
